Dartmoor, Devon. L/S of boy (Dave) and Scottie dog (Dusty) walking over moor, boy carries an artist’s easel under his arm. L/S wild pony grazing on moorland. Various C/Us Dave frantically drawing ponies on easel. C/U two ponies nuzzling each other. L/S of pony running off. Dave looks cross, picks up easel and runs after pony with Dusty behind him. He sets up easel nearer the pony but it runs off again before he can paint it. Dave uses a length of rope as a lassoo and throws it over a stone wall.
