Women Ferry On Thames (1936)

Kingston-on-Thames, Surrey. Miss Violet Pope stands in her rowing boat on the River Thames. She is the only woman ferry owner working on the River. A group of children and a woman come down and climb into her boat. Miss Pope pushes off from the bank and starts to row. Various CUs of woman, children and Miss Pope as she rows them to the paddling beach on the other side of the river. The boat comes in to the shore and the passengers disembark.
