At Haifa in Palestine we see various shots of two ships of the International Red Cross being loaded with Canadian flour which the Greek Government purchased to send to Athens for the starving people of Greece. Men at work loading the many sacks. At an Australian port, we see United States troops arriving with full kit, as part of the Pacific build-up. Australian girl in uniform offers something (food, probably) in a basket to American soldiers. Long lines of US soldiers march along the dockside. In the Middle East, we see General Auchinleck and General Ritchie with the Polish C-in-C of the Middle East, General Zayac, inspecting men of a Carpathian Brigade.
