School of deportment in London. Various shots shots young woman at cafe table behaving in a slovenly manner! C/U her feet: she takes them out of her shoes. She stubs her cigarette out on a plate and starts to file her nails. Her friend joins her dumping her shopping bags on the table. The friend shows the first girl some shoes she’s just bought. C/U of the girl eating cake with her gloves on and spilling tea on the table clothe. Another woman enters - she is Angela Norman, instructoress at school of deportment. Pan out to show table is not in cafe but in drawing room of school. The two women are students at the school who were deliberately misbehaving, they are watched by group of fellow students. Angela delivers lecture to girls, pointing out mistakes. Girls laugh a lot. C/U of Mrs Douglas Miller, principal of the school, correcting some of the girls’ sitting postures. Panning C/Us of girls’ feet: some have pigeon toes, other sit with their knees apart. Mrs Douglas Miller corrects them
