Linux Command Line Tutorial For Beginners 24 - Basic Group Management (groups, groupadd, groupdel)
groups - print the groups a user is in
groupadd - create a new group
groupdel - delete a group
gpasswd - administer /etc/group and /etc/gshadow
The options which apply to the gpasswd command are:
-a, —add user
Add the user to the named group.
-d, —delete user
Remove the user from the named group.
