‘Shocking scenes’: Palestinian protest leads to Synagogue evacuation

A Melbourne Synagogue was forced to be evacuated after a pro-Palestine protest was held near its location. Sky News host Rita Panahi described it as “shocking scenes” after the protest descended into a violent brawl. “Of all the places they could’ve protested they decided to travel to the most heavily Jewish populated part of Melbourne on the Sabbath outside a Synagogue,“ Ms Panahi said. “If you’re not looking for conflict, why would you do that? “If you’re not looking to absolutely inflame tensions and that’s precisely what happened.”
