HOW TO START A 13,084 . 30 TON DIESEL ENGINE

This 350 HP Fairbanks-Morse engine has a 14“X17“ Bore/Stroke and starts on compressed air. It was built in 1942 and generated electricity until 1985. You can hear it start and see a connecting rod in motion through a window into the crankcase. Video captured it at the Nowthen Threshing Show in 2009.
