My Best Friends are Australian Magpies

Since all but three of the magpies left my backyard to find territories of their own, I’ve been able to find most of them ...one who was even 1.8 kilometres away! Given these magpies spent most of their time in my backyard when they were juveniles, and they hung around for an average of 2 years, I got to know them exceptionally well! I grew to learn a few of their calls and could identify which magpie was which, without having to see them. All I had to do was listen to know who was nearby. I searched around my area and listened out for the familiar calls. Following the sound, I soon located where their new territories are. Facebook - Website -
