Using different threads and thread weights and different wrapping techniques make wonderful buttons. The variations on these are endless. And they’re just a little addictive too!
For the rings you can use either Dorset Button Rings or aluminum O-Rings. I’ve added links for both below:
O-Rings Aluminum:
O-Rings (these are heavy duty and harder to work with. This is what I used when I demonstrated how to wrap the rim.)
