UP#844 put on an incredible show on the afternoon of Sept 23, 2010 as she needs to return to Cheyenne by 5 pm. The stoking of the boiler creates “The Black Horizontal Tornado“ At 3:00 she pops her 300 psi safety valve just east of Bosler, WY. Then we just try to keep UP at 72mph into Laramie.
