“Make of it” is a story in which worlds not only interconnect but bleed into one another in a messy display of beautiful-humanity. Often, we must drown to land, sink to swim, move to heal, and dive to the deepest depths to breathe again. When Josh showed me this song in July 2020, I wrote this video treatment right away. Almost too quickly. I didn’t understand why so many specific characters and images came out of me upon hearing “MOI“ for the first time. As the edit was finalizing, I realized that every aspect of this music video had already been a part of my subconscious for precisely 26 years.
