Over the years, Bill Frisell has been the subject of numerous Fretboard Journal videos and articles. Our latest glimpse at the guitar visionary is this poignant video of him performing George and Ira Gershwin’s “Embraceable You.“ Frisell is performing on his Andersen archtop plugged directly into a Carr Sportsmen. “It’s a song I’ve been hearing my whole life, but I just started trying to play it yesterday,“ Frisell admitted during the taping.
