سمسمية الحسيني - رؤيتي وبصمتي في وضع فلكور بلدي مصر في وضعه العالمي الصحيح واللي يستحقه وانا ابن مدن القنال ابن السويس وبردلها الجميل وخليت فنها والمزيكا بتاعتها تبقى في السما باذن الله بعد ما اتربيت فيها وبدأت فيها . تحية كبيرة لكل فنانين مدن القنال . الاستعراض ده كان في مكان كله فن من كام سنة كان دار الاوبرا الفنلندية وكان اجمل وانسب مكان اقدر اعبر فيه عن حبي وعشقي لبلدي مصر وفنها وخصوصا محافظة السويس ومدن القنال. وانا كمان في نفس الوقت ابن من ابناء فرقة رضا المخلصين اللي بيمثلوها بره مصر وبحب محمود رضا قوي . احنا ملوك السمسمية رجالة وسيدات وشباب وآنسات . احنا السوايسة الصيادين والبحر الاحمر بحرنا .بنسعي فيه شمال ويمين ونصيد سمك مين زينا Simsimiyya Hosseny is my signature style, my vision of the urban folk dance of Suez Canal towns, and – to be more specific - my hometown Suez. This performance happened in a gorgeous theatre that, years ago, was the Finnish National Opera, in my opinion the perfect place to express the deep love I have to my country by presenting its dance culture in the best possible way. I consider myself son of Reda Troupe. But I am also son of Suez and the Canal towns, the area where simsimiyya is still a living tradition giving a fertile ground for choreographers to grow their wings – and fly all over the globe, as we have seen. For my part, I am grateful for this opportunity to raise the head of both Reda Troupe and my hometown; hopefully the result is enjoyable. Kings – and queens – of the Canal, let’s have fun!
