Tahnee Cain And Tryanglz - The Tech Noir Album *1984* [The Terminator Soundtrack]
[Glam Rock/Synth Rock/Hard Rock/AOR/Metal/Glam Metal] Here is a special video for all the fans of the original “Terminator“ film. This is my special custom made album of Tahnee Cain (Tané Cain) And The Tryanglz. The group’s music was commonly used throughout the Tech Noir club scenes in James Cameron’s 1984 hit film “The Terminator“. Only three tracks can be heard in the film: “PhotoPlay“ (Track 1), “You Can’t Do That“ (Track 5), and “Burnin’ In The Third Degree“ (Track 9). The rest of the tracks are unreleased demos that were planned to be released in 1985 by Tahnee Cain (Tané Cain) And The Tryanglz but sadly they never were ...until now! ;) I decided to put them all together and design a silhouette Tech Noir club video so that you really feel like you are spending 40 minutes in the actual nightclub from “The Terminator“. Tané Cain was born Tané M. McClure on June 8th, 1958 in Los Angeles County, California. She is the daughter of actor Doug McClure and Faye Brash (the first of his five wives). She has a half-sister named Valerie from her father’s marriage to his fourth wife (Diane Soldani) in the 1970s. She recorded her first single, “Redwood City“, in the late 1970s, and soon thereafter she met The Babys and Journey keyboardist Jonathan Cain, whom she married (they are now divorced, lol). After marrying they both moved to Los Angeles where she landed a record deal in 1982 and released a self-titled (using her married name Tané Cain) album on RCA Records. A Billboard review of the album described her as “an artist to watch“ and remarked that she “looks incredibly beautiful on the LP cover“. The album did not sell as well as the label had hoped (peaking at number 121 on the Billboard album chart), and she was dropped, never to release another album until her contributions to “The Terminator“ film with the Tryanglz. For some strange reason she changed her name to Tahnee Cain when she performed with the Tryanglz, probably because she was known by the public to be a sort of Pat Benatar clone and she didn’t like that label, maybe the change in name was her trying to shift her image. Never the less in 1985 she recorded all these tracks presented in this video with the Tryanglz but they never were officially released, listening to them i feel annoyed that they never were released, i mean the success of the “Terminator“ film was monumental and the club scene is still widely talked about for having great music. As time progressed, McClure starred in more than two dozen sexploitation films. She also played the mother of Elle Woods (Reese Witherspoon) in Legally Blonde (2001) and its sequel, Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde (2003). All in all, i hope you guys enjoy this silhouette video as i really wanted to put you INTO the Technoir nightclub on the night of May 12th, 1984 located on Pico Boulevard in Los Angeles. This album is unreleased and has no distribution label ’84.
