The Science of Sleep

Sleep is one of the most basic necessities of human functioning. This video explores the science behind sleeping - why do we need to sleep, and what are the ideal sleep and napping patterns? It will also outline various sleep disorders, and current treatments available. This video was created by a group of McMaster University students in a knowledge translation course for the Demystifying Medicine series: Angie Ibrahim, Bakht Khan, Michelle Goldsand, Ramneet Mann, and Verina Hanna.
