DEATHSPELL OMEGA - The Fires of Frustration - Rehearsal

A little over five years ago, Deathspell Omega returned from Brittany after recording The Furnaces of Palingenesia. Afterwards, the band started rehearsing to prepare for a series of concerts. Line-up complications eventually doomed the attempt at performing this particular album live. The following video of the song The Fires of Frustration is an internal working document – the kind produced when musicians are scattered across a continent. The recording device was a smartphone. While the idea of concerts for Furnaces is now water under the bridge, we can at least divulge a fraction of what we were working on. The performance itself reflects the early phase of a series of rehearsals and, as such, is not flawless.
