World’s Smallest Surf Shack | Surfing Documentary 2023

“It’s not a profitable business, it’s just a lifestyle on the beach, professional beach bums, that’s what we are down here.” In this short Surfing documentary we spent a weekend with Lucas, a tradesman from New Zealand who moved to the U.K. of all places to open The Worlds Smallest Surf Shack in Nolton Haven, Wales. Diving into his daily routine, from crafting recycled surf wax and mending battered boards, to mastering sustainable seaside living. We started this project thinking we’d get some slick surfing shots, but ended up finding a community of people who’s embracing their inner child as they glide across the waves. _______________________ At wyld. we tell stories about wild people & brands exploring how to live a life filled with adventure, making the most of the time we have on this planet, ideally without killing it.
