Belgorod - Белгород

Belgorod City is the Administrative Center of Belgorod Oblast and is 40 km north from the Ukrainian border. Its was heavily damaged during ww2 but regained its highly developed industrial-agrarian region, whose economy relies on its enormous wealth of mineral resources and the unique black soils. Belgorod and its region has a strong agro-industrial complex driven economy. and the City and region accounts for one fifth of the trade turnover between Russia and Ukraine.
