Stillborn Atrocity A Flourishing Scourge is a Progressive Black/Death Metal Band from Seattle, Washington, US. A Flourishing Scourge was formed in 2013 by long-time friends Tye Jones and Josh Keifer as a creative outlet for their shared musical interests. Originally created as a studio project, it quickly gained interest and traction in the Seattle area. By 2015, Andrew Dennis and Kevin Carbrey had filled out the line-up and the band self-released their first EP, As Beauty Fades Away. By the end of 2017, they had firmly established themselves in the northwest metal scene and released their self-titled full-length debut. After several years of performing in the Seattle area and throughout the West Coast, the band decided to focus on a follow-up album that would truly showcase their writing and musical abilities. The culmination of this effort has resulted in their third studio release, Sickened Seed.
