Donations will go towards supporting India’s artistes in need: MALLARI A Mallari, is a traditional composition that was used to offer a musical prayer when the Utsava murthy was taken in procession around the temple . The Nadaswaram and Tavil are a part of temple ceremonies even today and this film engages with these beautiful musicians in a kind of illusory magical setting inspired by the unique musical tonality of these instruments.
