There are 3 things you should know about Yula : two decades of a DJ career; her own 12’’ vinyl label Krasаwa Records, releasing both talented Russian and prominent European producers, like Rune Lindbaek, Rotciv, and Kyodai; and last but not the least: The Cruising duo with her husband Sergey Demidov, (Om Records, Whiskey Pickle, to name a few). Music pieces by The Cruising are not that easy to identify, both style- and time-wise. Funky vibes of the 1970s and 1980s are generously mixed with techno sound and peppered with unconventional live instruments, vocals, and flirting with rock. Throw in ambitions of new genre creators, and you get a fantastic creature, a techno-funky-rock Unicorn, which is definitely worth to see and hear.
