PUTTIN’ ON THE RITZ | Stephanie Trick & Paolo Alderighi

Irving Berlin wrote this song in 1927, and one of the most memorable onscreen performances of it appears in the 1946 film, “Blue Skies.“ Fred Astaire uses his cane to great effect and dances with nine reproduced versions of himself. It took him five weeks to film that routine, as each “Fred“ was filmed separately! It’s such an iconic scene and we love it!
