SLALOM technique demonstrated by a J-3 racer (compilliation by coach greg )

This is a training video of a Russian junior ski racer, Katia Tkachenko when she was still not yet 15 (J-3). She demonstrates here a great application of solid technical fundamentals in a training slalom course. This young girl arguably exemplifies junior slalom skiing at her age. Generally all of the fundamentals are there - solid balance, good re-cenetring, adequate timing. She was one of the best racers in Tirol for her age winning and placing at the top in some Tyrol Cups (Austria) races. All of this comes from a lot of fundamental work in free skiing.
