you can find my photos here: fun fact: you can also check out the town of Chernobyl on google streetview! there are up to 4000 people working at or near the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. it’s not just the people working inside the nuclear power plant and building the new safe confinement; the area needs security guards and bus drivers, shopkeepers, cooks, launderers and sweepers, street repair units and firefighters - just to mention some of the jobs in the exclusion
