(English subtitles) On 16 December 1942 the Red Army launched Operation Little Saturn breaking through German, Hungarian and Romanian lines on the Don river. The Italians resisted the Soviet attack for nearly two weeks, although outnumbered 9 to 1 but by mid January 1943 they were completely encircled.
