Sonata in g minor, Menuets 1 & 2, by S. L. Weiss

Music from the concert by Nigel North on 1 July 2010 at the Lute Society of America Summer Seminar and Lute Festival at Case Western Reserve University. The Menuets are from of a Sonata found as an undated entry in the “London“ Weiss manuscript. Nigel plays the two menuets in succession, followed by a reprise of the first, as is typical in a suite of this period in the French style. Posted with permission of the performer.
