Russia in Catholic prophecy

For centuries the Catholic prophets have predicted a time when mankind will become so sinful and laxed that God will punish the world with war, famine, natural disasters and persecutions of the church. This is called the great chastisement. And a great part of humanity will perish because the state of mankind will be worse then at the time of Noah and the great flood. The prophets make it clear,  the chastisement will happen in our time. Some even named the end of the 20th century.
