Yuki Ishikawa DESTROYED Canada in Men’s VNL 2024 !!! The fourth-best team in the Preliminary Phase, last year’s bronze medalists Japan earned the right of appearing in the VNL semifinals for a second-straight season with a solid 3-0 (26-24, 25-18, 26-24) victory over fifth-placed Canada. Currently in second place in the World Rankings with points, the Japanese benefited from an extraordinary performance from team captain Yuki Ishikawa to prevail over the Canadians. The 28-year-old Ishikawa was by far Japan’s most productive player on the court, producing 26 points, with 20 kills, three blocks and three aces.
