My Off Grid, Alaskan Workshop Project (And My Grandkids)

In this video I am starting to build my remote workshop. It will serve as a place to do woodworking as well as general welding and mechanical repairs on my snowmobiles and ATVs. The building will also house my permanent generator set, solar batteries, inverter and transfer switch gear. The construction will be wood frame with a rafter system. Buildings in the pass are subject to incredible, sustained wind. It drives snow and rain into every crack. I will be showing you the materials and methods I use to build a weather-proof structure. Also, I am proud to introduce a few of my 14 grandchildren to you in this video. I am a father of 10 children (7 adopted) so I have no shortage of grandkiddos. Enjoy the video and peace to you my friends.
