Hello folks! Today I want to show you a new restoration. I bought these wonderful old clamps from the 20th century at a flea market. These are great tools. Moreover, I really like to collect and buy old tools of the past years. The condition of the clamps is bad, but I will fix it. This restoration project is going to be a lot of fun. Well, let’s start the restoration!

The first duty I did was to remove the first layer of rust and start disassembling the tool. Next, I put all the iron parts in a rust remover. With the help of a iron wire brush, I cleaned the metal and applied a paint remover to the corners of the parts. There was still some old paint left.
I made new wooden handles for clamps from beech wood. Rings for the handle are copper, rivets are brass. As a result, I received two new vintage working clamps, I am glad.
Well, as always, I made a clamp test for you. Thanks for your attention
Thank you for attention!
