WORST CASE OF Knee BURSITIS. Watch the SURGICAL REMOVAL

Knee Pre-Patella Bursitis is a abnormal inflammation of the bursa in front of the knee cap. Usually due to anterior knee trauma. Common in occupations which require kneeling on hard surfaces and sports which lead to frequent falls onto knees such as MMA or Wrestling. In most cases pre-patella bursitis goes away on its own or might require simple treatment including aspiration of fluid and compression wrap. • Once the tissue forms hard fibrous bands the pain and swelling tends to become chronic. • The surgical procedure is called “Bursectomy”. • After the surgery patients are immobilized for a few days and allowed to walk. • Because of the fact that the pathology is outside of the knee joint the recovery is quick. _____________________________________________➡️ Dr. Mora is a Board-Certified Orthopedic Surgeon, Fellowship Trained and Founding Partner at Restore Orthopedics and Spine Center @restoreortho in Orange County.
