Restoring a WWII Vintage Cattaraugus Knife and Making a Leather Sheath

Did you know that the U.S. issued knives OTHER than the KA-BAR in WWII? :) But seriously; I purchased this World War II era Cattaraugus 225Q “Quartermaster“ bowie knife from eBay. It was in rough shape and in need of restoration (just the way I like my knives!). I cleaned it up and gave it a new sheath. The leather washers in the handle were deteriorated, so they had to be replaced. For a little bit of extra flair, I also added some G10 and brass spacers. This video is equal parts metal work, restoration, and leathercraft. follow me on instagram @roadagentleather Btw, my laser is the excellent xTool P2 55W CO2.
