ALL THE CLOWNS ARE LAUGHING AT YOU

Four octave Harmony Array Mbira tuned in standard 12 equal with one channel run through the ELH Ring Thing (a ring modulator) and the other through the amazing Boss SY1 Synthesizer pedal. Both the pitch of the Ring Thing and the pitch of the synth are manipulated by a foot controlled stereo expression foot pedal acting on both effects pedals in complex ways. This means that although this is in standard 12 tone tuning I can bend pitches about by foot to turn 12 tones into as many as 36 tones and twist timbres about in unexpected ways to undermine the “normal“ progression of chords. I can just see the antics of the crazed psychedelic clowns, especially when they start laughing. If this had been improvised real loud in front of a crowd and with a full on light show.......
