Realistic fluid simulation in Blender + LuxRender

This one took quite some time to setup and finetune. Neither Blender’s internal render engine nor Yafaray produced acceptable results, so I decided to use LuxRender in unbiased MLT mode. Combined with a custom HDR background image lighting the scene, it delivers very realistic output at the cost of astronomic render times. One frame out of 710 took about 22 minutes to render, but without a good noise filter it would have taken at least twice as long. Here’s the .blend file: https://rapidsha
