China’s biggest banks report healthy Q4 earnings

China’s biggest banks are reporting their fourth-quarter and full-year earnings these two days. While four have announced and unveiled 2022 profit that beat estimates, there are signs of stress. The Industrial & Commercial Bank of China saw its bottomline rising 3.5 per cent from 2021. The Agricultural Bank of China fared better, with full-year profit up 7.4 per cent.
