Two Russian naval ships docked in the Venezuelan port of La Guaira on July 2 after exercises in the Atlantic Ocean. Moscow said the port call was part of exercises to “show the flag” in remote, important regions after an initial stopover in Cuba. It said that the frigate Admiral Gorshkov and oil tanker Academic Pashin, both from its Northern Fleet, docked in La Guaira. Meanwhile, US Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) said it knew of the possible visit and that it was not a threat. #russia #venezuela #maduro #putin #admiralGorshkov #russiannavy #worldnews n18oc_world n18oc_crux 0:00 INTRODUCTION 3:17 US AWARE, BUT SEES “NO THREAT” 3:40 RUSSIA-VENEZUELA TIES CRUX is your daily video news guide to the big events that are shaping our world.
