ReactOS can now use custom icon themes without modifying system resources!
In this video I tested some 3rd-party icon themes in ReactOS using Desktop Properties () and 3rd-party app IconTweaker. They can be used correctly with the following PRs applied (they will be merged very soon):
(copy the line and paste & enter url in your browser).
The custom icons can be changed correctly for the following items:
1) desktop (My Computer, My Documents, Recycle Bin, Network Places, Web Browser, Control Panel and several items inside it: Adminitrating, Printers, Network Conntections and Fonts folders);
2) normal folder (for any directories without file);
3) all drives types (Floppy, CD-ROM, USB Flash drive, hard drive, network drive, RamDisk drive), custom autorun icons are still displaying correctly, in case they are available;
4) all known file extensions (available to change in Folder Options too), same as without my changes (already supported in master).
