Douglas Murray takes aim at Australia’s ‘ridiculous’ misinformation laws
Author Douglas Murray has taken aim at Australia’s “ridiculous” misinformation legislation put forward by the Albanese government.
“The idea that the Australian government, any more than the British government or the American government, should be the arbiter of what is true and what is false is absolutely ridiculous to my mind,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“The important point is it’s not just that this particular Australian government can’t do this, it’s that no Australian government should do it.”
