Lower Dens - “Lucky People“ - Live from Acme Feed & Seed Rooftop

Baltimore natives Lower Dens came by the station back in February. We figured it was too nice outside not to put them on our beautiful rooftop. The sunshine and general setting seemed to be in stark contrast to the dark, synth-infused pop of the band; however, by the end of the set, the juxtaposition began to look a bit more like a refreshing complement to the melancholic lyricism of Jana Hunter. Compelling, mysterious, and full of atmospheric breath, we were so happy to capture the group’s song “Lucky People“ from 2019’s Competition LP.
