His vocal range ; sheer power and generosity won him the nickname « Barry Groscoeur » (Big Heart Barry) in France where people are fond of this kind of spoonerism. That’s how I remembered I had this recording of Procol Harum dating back to the summer of 1974 (July 27) a couple of weeks before Richard Nixon resigned. Forty seven years later, a few days before the release of the band’s latest effort, there you go !
