Man escapes draft officers with help of local women

Footage has emerged of a man in Dnepr, Ukraine reportedly being helped to escape from a gang of military recruiters. In the video, which appeared on Telegram, a group of women can be seen crowding round a van, and appear to help a man climb through the window. It’s not clear who the other occupants of the van are, but reports suggest they were draft officers, and that the crowd of women blocked the van while the man made his escape – even giving him time to retrieve his bike from the trunk. The officers don’t seem to react to the man’s escape; whether they didn’t know or just didn’t care remains a mystery.
