Russian embassy in the US marks grim anniversary of Nazi invasion of USSR

The Russian embassy in the US held a solemn ceremony to mark the grim anniversary of Nazi Germany’s invasion of the Soviet Union. Russian Ambassador Anatoly Antonov remarked that Americans have forgotten the pivotal role the Soviet Union played in delivering the ultimate blow against Nazism to end the conflict in Europe. He also commented on the unfortunate twists and turns in bilateral diplomatic relations.
