Notre Dame celebrates milestone toward restoration

Notre Dame has celebrated yet another significant milestone in restoration works, as it prepares for its reopening later this year. On Friday, a large bouquet of flowers was lifted onto the top of its timber frame roofing, which has been completely reconstructed after a devastating fire ripped through the Paris landmark in 2019.
