In 1983 the core of the band was: Tom Bailey – bass, guitar, keyboards, vocals Joe Leeway – congas, percussion, keyboards, vocals Alannah Currie – drums, percussion, vocals. ’Lies’ was a single released late 1982 that reached #67 in the UK charts and #1 in the US Dance charts.
