Yamaha HS5 vs Klipsch R-15PM || Sound Demo

Klipsch R15PM on amazon US: Klipsch R15PM on amazon DE: Yamaha HS5 on amazon US: Yamaha HS5 on amazon DE: This stylish duo has surprisingly similar sound signature and sound quality so You have to listen closely to catch the differences. Both are bright in the upper ranges and restrained in the low end, but if I had to pick the winner here it would be Klipsch, as it has slightly fuller sound with a touch more satisfying bass response. Yamaha, again, is dry in bass and shows its honky colouration to the midrange. Considering that, for similar money, Klipsch also has a very nice host of features including USB DAC, digital inputs, Bluetooth connectivity and remote control it is simply better choice, especially for more midfield use (for nearfield just get JBL LSR305, Klipsch has too much hiss).
