Slade - 7 Year Bitch (Music Video, 1985)

The music video for Slade’s single 7 Year Bitch (from the album Rogues Gallery), released by RCA Records in January 1985. The song was written by lead vocalist Noddy Holder and bassist Jim Lea, and produced by John Punter. It reached number 60 in the UK Singles Chart and number 12 in Music Week magazine’s Heavy Metal Top Singles chart. In West Germany, it peaked at number 39. The music video was directed by Phillip Davey and shot at Ewert Studios in London. In March 1985, pan-European magazine Music & Media listed it as a “video hit“ across the continent, having achieved heavy play on Sky Channel’s Sky-Fi Music Show and Music Box. Speaking of the video, Noddy Holder told Music Box’s First Sight Show in 1985: “[It’s] a lot more colourful [than past Slade videos]. We really wanted a lot of colour.
