Why is Yangon empty?

In this video Emmie walks around Downtown Yangon to find the place largely deserted. She also walks inside Myanmar’s largest mall - the Junction City Mall - to find it empty. The Covid Pandemic and the Political instability has made Yangon into a ghost town. Emmie manages to find a few scattered street food stalls where she buys and eats some food.
