本作品は、国立映画アーカイブが所蔵する文化・記録映画など映画作品を配信するWEBサイト「フィルムは記録する ―国立映画アーカイブ歴史映像ポータル―」（制作：国立映画アーカイブ、国立情報学研究所）の公開作品です。 『昭和九年十二月 九四式裝甲列車 試驗実况』(ショウワクネンジュウニガツ キュウヨンシキソウコウレッシャ シケンジッキョウ、1934年) 陸軍技術本部 8分,白黒,サイレント 南満洲鉄道会社（満鉄）が製作した装甲列車を紹介する作品。警戒車、火砲車・甲（10センチ高射砲搭載）、火砲車・乙（10センチ高射砲搭載）、火砲車・丙（7.5センチ高射砲搭載）、指揮車、機関車、炭水車、電源車からなる列車の構造を詳説するとともに、射撃や試運転の様子も収められている。撮影場所も満鉄の機関区や沿線で行われたものと思われる。 「フィルムは記録する ―国立映画アーカイブ歴史映像ポータル―」では、1922年から1936年までに製作された49作品を新たに公開いたします。この時期の前半は、文部省製作による秀作や長篇の観光映画などが注目されますが、満州事変勃発以降の作品になると、軍事色の急速な高まりを伺うことができます。国立映画アーカイブでは、今後も随時公開作品を増やしていく予定です。ぜひサイトをお訪ねください。 ---------------------------------------- This is one of the films featured on the website “Film IS a Document: NFAJ Historic Film Portal” (a joint project of the National Film Archive of Japan and the National Institute of Informatics) which streams a selection of titles from the NFAJ film collection with initial focus on cultural and documentary films.
