FSR 3 launched today in Forspoken and Immortals of Aveum. In this video I not only look at some comparisons of FSR3 vs DLSS3 in image quality and latency, but also some quirks in how they work with vsync/gysync/freesync that initially made me much less impressed with FSR3, until I got it running vsync locked at my monitor’s max refresh rate. There’s still a lot more that I need to explore before I can give a complete review. How does FSR3 work on RTX 20 and 30 series GPUs? How about RX 6000 vs 7000? Low end vs high end? Different monitors with different refresh rates? Latency vs all GPU brands and generations? More detailed image quality analysis. More time just playing games with it. There is a lot to think about!
