NYPD arrests at least 200 protesters in Tuesday’s riots
The New York Police Department arrested at least 200 protesters on Tuesday evening, which is down from Monday (June 1), when about 700 protesters were reportedly arrested. According to the police, hours after the curfew was imposed on Monday evening, several protesters continued to march in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and other parts of the city. It led to clashes and hundreds of arrests as police tried to clear large crowds.
